Cultivating Resilience

Soul-Haven-Counselling

Transforming mental healthcare

The most important aspect of beginning trauma therapy is who you feel the most comfortable with. The therapeutic relationship is the most crucial aspect of ensuring positive outcomes. If you do not feel a connection with your counsellor, give yourself permission to search for a different therapist; don't be afraid to try a few until you find someone who is right for you.

Live your best life.

What We Offer

Attending counselling allows for empowerment and your voice to be heard. With the support of a counsellor, you will be able to share your story in a supported environment. You will be encouraged to go at your own pace in order  to develop personal growth and healing.

Addressing your past does not mean you need to relive it.  Your counsellor will work with you to develop practical coping skills and grounding techniques that work best for you and by helping you alter your lived experience as an act of healing, acceptance and empowerment.

It takes a great leap of courage to assess past abuse and trauma. At Soul Haven we recognize each person is on their very own, unique journey. Your counsellor will walk beside you as you heal your life, while being kind to your soul.
